The 2026 Occupational Therapy Summit of Scholars welcomes a diverse group of scholars engaged in or developing externally funded research programs. This year’s theme, Engage and Participate, highlights our dual role as researchers: shaping the future of occupational therapy research through collaboration and mentorship, while advancing research that promotes meaningful participation for the populations we study. From co-designing studies to informing policy, the theme invites reflection on both our contributions to the research community and the broader impact of our work.
We can't wait to have you meet us in St. Louis for the 2026 Occupational Therapy Summit of Scholars. Check back soon for information on registration, the call for abstracts, and more.
The OT Summit is currently a collaboration between the occupational therapy academic programs at the University of Washington, Washington University in St. Louis, University of Florida, and The Ohio State University.
